I'm in here now to ask all of you to think about Lillady Reg tonight...she had to take her son to Barnes Hospital in St Louis today...I have been waitin to hear from some of them...he is 28 and has Alport Syndrome...his daddy died of the same thing about twenty years ago ...maybe a little longer...anyway...I know some of you pray and to those of you who do..I ask you to hold Rhonda and her family up tonight..I know I can count on you guys...thanks so much...God bless each and everyone of you... Just got home fronm a friends house...a guy named Eddie that I have known all my life...Dr John puts me in the mind of him...haven't been to see him in a long time and so it was a treat...First time he has seen the Chinook and didn't think I was gonna make it away from there with it...he fell flat foot in love with it...made me promise that when I got rid of ..it would be his...didn't get it to get rid of...got to have some fun with...and that is about to begin...He gave me my first "house"warmin gift...a set of fuzzy dice ...what a guy...he also gave me a bird vase...beautiful thing...I collect antiques and so once in a while Ed will through something my way...I been buggin him for years for an old crock chun...won't come off it for nothin'...the week-end is windin down...traffic is nuts to butts for miles out there...everybody headed back home from the Lake...yeah!!!! glad it's over...well, I'm gonna kick back here and let the good times roll...you guys have a good one...chat at ya later... I'm just now gettin in the house and don't think I'm gonna be here long...thinkin about buyin a twelve pack of Bud and rollin' out to a guys house that knows how to pick a guitar.....just an ole Tennessee flat top..nothin fancy...we know everything Hank Williams ever wrote and I do a mean Patsy Cline ...I brought the Chinook up in front of my house and the grandkids had a ball...best money I ever spent.. ...just took them home and went for a ride with my daughter in law... today is my daughters birthday...so I want to make her a post...yes kids...it's Labor Day week-end...my labor day Happy birthday darlin Goose..Momma loves you so much... ..I wil call...yeah...today is a good day...memories flood a person at times... ...ah well...I'm gonna go drink beer and sing til the cows come home... Jimmy went to Moline, Ill. to see the John Deere tractor stuff...only 300 miles from me so that sounds like a place to go...John Deere was a blaclsmith...that will be another day...fall is here...cool weather is back...granny is chompin at the bits to travel...I'm lookin at alot of stuff right near here...I want to go for that "scenic route"Hwy 10 down through Arkansas...that would be a short hop...but I'm waitin til the leaves turn for that one...I'll put together a post about the tractor show one day this week....you guys have a good one and I'll chat at ya later...
