Hey mom, just passin through your blog and wanted to clarify that Epstein Barr is not the same as Epstein Syndrome. Vinnie had Epstein Barr (which is a virus) one of those times he was hospitalized for week because he could not walk. It was the only virus they could find in his system...definately not the same thing.
Well, kids I come in here to give you the latest...as far as I know about Reg's son...he has Epstein Syndrome...now that is an off shoot of Alports...twenty some odd years ago they called it Alports and from what I understand they don't know much about it..it attacks and destroys the white blood cells...when he went to the doctors his white cell count was down to 2000..it should be at 5000...so they transfused him and took him to St Louis...that is where they have come up with this Epstein Syndrome...it is supposed to attack the major organs of the body..heart..lungs...liver...kidneys..so on and so forth...now what we need is a good blood doctor...I will leave it up to you to know the correct name..I plead "blonde"...anyway...a blood doctor ...right now that is what we need...it would be nice to find one here in the state of Missouri...we have family looking the web over...I call on any of you that know how to drive a seach engine to look up anything you can on this...Reg sounded tired...she is holdin' up...very quiet right now as I'm sure you can all understand...they are getting doctors appointments set-up and all the stuff that goes with it...I ask you all to keep holding them in prayer...I love you guys and I hope some of this made sense Cracker
