well...here I am...we had a hell of a storm last night...all the power is out in all the towns around me....somehow I got missed on that party...there is no place open for miles around here...I called Jimmy today and ask him to bring me some candles but he said nothin' in Eldon is open...indain and cowboy are sittin' in the dark last report I got from Bill...he has lights too...but we are the only ones I know that does have power...they say it is gonna do it again tonight and go right on til about Wednesday and then turn to snow...looks so odd out...trees are down everywhere...Jimmy said it is worse than the ice storm last year...lol...I look out my window and there is no lights to be seen...even the radio towers are down....my oldest lives in Jeff City and she has been without power since 7 this mornin'....Reg called and all the phones are out down there now...so here I sit...waitin' for the other shoe to drop....it was freaky last night...thunder so loud it shook the house and lightenin' like you wouldn't believe...I walked the floors all night long...so kids...if I don't show up for a couple of nights you know whats up...the air waves are all mine and so my music is comein' in loud and clear...guess with everyone else off I have the place to myself....Marty never sounded so good...I love you guys...hope all is well where ever you are...stay dry ...stay safe and I'll chat at ya later... wouldn't take much and I could give myself a bad case of the blues...layin' in bed awhile ago and got to thinkin' it is comein' up time for the anniversry of Ronnies death...lord how I dread it....I miss him alot ...somehow it doesn't seem fair that the only good man I ever had got snatched away from me...we had sixteen good years though and so I shouldn't bitch...at least I had that much...but the holidays are hard without him...he worked so hard to make them special for me...now it's nothin'...I stay in bed all day and don't turn on any lights...seems I can't make it if I'm awake...memories flood me...I know life is for the livin'...I have sorted it all out...but it still hurts....I almost hate Christmas and New Year is about more than I can handle...I'll hear that knock on my door as long as I live...burned a hole in my mind....it's late..I'm tired and the baby has been sick all day...maybe thats all that is wrong...
