 have a great week-end everyone

Will You Please Just Listen
When I ask you to listen and you start giving advice, you have not done what I have asked.
When I ask you to listen and you start telling me why I shouldn’t feel the way I do, you are invalidating my feelings.
When I ask you to listen and you start trying to solve my problem, I feel underestimated and disempowered.
When I ask you to listen and you start telling me what I need to do I feel offended, pressured and controlled.
When I ask you to listen, it does not mean I am helpless. I may be faltering, depressed or discouraged, but I am not helpless.
When I ask you to listen and you do things which I can and need to do for myself, you hurt my self-esteem.
But when you accept the way I feel, then I don’t need to spend time and energy trying to defend myself or convince you, and I can focus on figuring out why I feel the way I feel and what to do about it.
And when I do that, I don’t need advice, just support, trust and encouragement.
Please remember that what you think are “irrational feelings” always make sense if you take time to listen and understand me.

 Comin Thro The Rye

I woke up today with the strangest thing on my mind..."Comin Thro The Rye"...and so I was lookin' it up and found a book that I am gonna read ...The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Slainger...I have just read the review of the book and so I know it will be one I like.....how that come to my mind is anybody's guess...but it must be for a reason...spent way to many hours on here w/o a break and so this is gonna do it kids til I'm rested from the brain fry...to old to put myself through these endless hours of non sleep and it serves no purpose...distorts my vision and so I'm gonna give it a rest...if I have been out of the way with anyone...then I am sorry...for what I did on purpose..I am not sorry....like I said...if I stepped on your toes in my ignorance...I am sorry...but if I stood flat foot and said/did it...then I meant it....I'll leave it to your own heart to get that one figured out...I'm beat to the bone and have nothin' for this place at this time...take a day or two and read ...think...chill ...I had a good time yesterday....like I said...I'm gettin' to old to pull these all nighters...and I have other shit to do..so with that..I leave you with Robert Burns...

Comin Thro The Rye

O, Jenney's a'weet poor body,
Jenny's seldom dry;
She draigl't a' her petticoattie
Comin thro' the rye.
chorus:
Comin thro the rye, poor body,
Comin thro the rye,
She draigl't a'her petticoatie,
Comin thro the rye!
Gin a body meet a body
Comin thro the rye,
Gin a body kiss a body,
Need a body cry ?
Gin a body meet a body
Comin thro the glen,
Gin a body kiss a body,
Need the warld ken?

 the circus left town

the circus folded it's tent and left town...as I walked through the crowd I started to notice things ...when I first went to the circus I thought it would be fun...there was bright lights and alot of people laughing and carrying on...and as I stepped back and looked a litttle closer...I could see it wasn't laughter I heard...it ws just excess noise...loud, deafening noise...each one trying to be louder than the next...until it all ran together and none of it made sense.....there in the middle of the ring was a woman...she was highly made up and you could not tell what she looked like for it...at first glance she looked beautiful...but on looking closer I saw she was crude and harsh...and her smile was not really a smile...but a thin smirk that played its self off as a smile...her helpers stayed busy all the night long....running to and fro...she would bid one to go here and another to go there...and they went...and they came back and she went out herself and pulled people in by telling them that it was all so fun...but it wasn't ...they trashed the grounds...they moved onto places that was not meant for them to go ...but they went anyway....laughing and screaming....and then it was over...the lights went out, the tent came down...the woman and her helpers went on to where ever they go...and after they left I looked at the mess they had left behind...I was sorry I went...
