we have sunshine and mild weather here...my sister from Tennessee just left...yesterday was soooo bad...I fell exhausted into bed and didn't hardly move....feel better today...noticed the stockmarket is still down...I'm not gonna say nothin'...I hope all is well with all of you...I'll try to be around later...
this is an old house I found right out side of town...Carrie is in command of the camera ...and it was pourin' down rain...but I wanted you to see it...I will go back and try to get better ones..I bet this place has a cool history...I'm gonna start lookin' it up...
they are about all alike...but it just calls to me...I can't wait to see what has gone on in the days of yore...it's roof looks like it is in good shape so maybe the indsdes are not totally rotted away...
what a center piece this would be for a book...I'm still readiing George Eliot...my reading time is not as long as it once was...no matter...I am enjoyin' the book...you all have a great day...we have had rain all day here...but it's spring kids and we need these showers...later...
got through the day without thinkin' of my Dad but one time...and that was all day long...I miss Daddy alot today...today was our big day and today he died...I almost can't handle St Pat's Day over it...my favorite holiday too...but I made it just like I've made it all the years he has been gone...but I miss him just the same none the less...I wish I had a picture I could post of him...he reminded me of Clark Gable when he was young...he was my hero til the bitter end....it rained here today and we went to the town up the road a ways and went to the Mennonite store...well we got there and it was an anniveersy sale...with a free food table and Lordy what a table !!!....so we got in a free brunch...and 10% off everything in the store(food store)...how can a person beat that for "luck o the Irish"?...I loved it...we went by a home that dates back before the Civil War ...it was a girls acadmey...took some pictures ...some different ones...will post them tomorrow...found a wonderful church house that I would love to buy and re-store...and it rained... ...dreams kids...you know they don't cost a dime.....we are going back to that store and stock up on some things that we liked...this soup that they sell is out of sight..I mean it is gooood...add water and ta da ...you got soup...be hard to beat anywhere I'm thinkin'...oh yeah...this ole gal is gonna fill the panty...I like to have a good stiocked kitchen if nothin else...I guess most women are like that...I sure hope if any of you have a Mennonite store in your area you don't over-look it...they are well worth it...cheaper than Wal-Mart and I KNOW this stuff ain't made in China.. well kids...I'm outta here...go see what's shakein'..hope you all had a grand day...
